Our guild is a mature guild, we respect and honor EVERYONE in our guild. Regardless of their age, race, gender, nationality, or their guild rank. Not everyone comes from the same background, or live in the same environment.

The way we talk on forums, shoutbox, vent, and ingame guild chat can be easily read by our guild member's who have kids near them or close to them when they are playing. This is a very important issue which needs to be addressed, understand, and take in effect. I expect all Aletheia officers to step up to any individual who shall ignore this.

* Profanity is NOT ALLOWED
* This is not a dating service
* ABSOLUTELY NO RACIST REMARKS

These are only a few, and I hope that I do not have to add anymore to this list in the future.

[blink]**NOTE** this applies to ingame and ventrilo as well.[/blink]

Grammar Guidelines by Gunny

We at ZS arent your highschool English teacher. We understand a few typos in your posts, and even expect a few from us mere motals. That being said, when we read posts like the one below, our eyes bleed.

Ideally, this section of the forum rules will serve to educate fellow ZSers about the tedious form of communication we refer to as the English language.

Heres the example:

Nay. A 14 team dynasty league would be a bit much...now, or even in the future. I too like the format we have now, besides, I would imagine drafts would eventually be akin to playing the lottery and also very boring in my opinion.

Nay. I am with whoever said that they would be for it if we did a full on redraft auction style- only then will a dynasty league make sense to me.

Anyone up for doing a parallel league maybe of the 8 owners who would be interested to see how it goes?

OWW Genesis wants you to enjoy your time in the forums as much as possible. However, being part of an on-line community, it is necessary to make certain basic rules in order to function. The rules below were made in the best interest of OWW Genesis and its users. These rules shall be enforced by OWW Genesis Site Staff Administrators and Moderators.

MAIN FORUM RULES

RESPECT
Respect all users and their views on the forums. No user should be subjected to insults due to there view point.

RESPECTING THE MODERATORS/ADMINISTRATORS
Disrespect of OWW Genesis Site Staff which includes Moderators and Administrators, whether in front of others, or to others, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

NO OBSCENE LANGUAGE
Obscene language is defined as a profanity or bad word, swear word, curse word, cuss word, dirty word, or collectively foul, bad or strong language. We can tolerate the occasional obscene word, however OWW Genesis Site Staff will take action should excessive swearing become a common presence in any users posts. We have a distinct standard that separates us from other wrestling forums, and we expect all members to uphold that standard.

NO HATE SPEECH
Hate speech will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to racial or sexual slander. This will include repeated professions of hate speech by a user towards a specific wrestler for unexplained reasons.

POSTING IN THE CORRECT FORUMS
Topics must be posted in the correct forum. If you are unsure if the topic belongs in a particular forum, re-read the rules or contact an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member. An example of a topic being placed in the wrong forum is placing a John Cena topic in "The Golden Age of Professional Wrestling" forum. If we see a violation of this your posts will be moved and/or deleted. If you are posting a new topic in any of the trivia forums, make sure the prefix is "TRIVIA" followed by a colon : .

SPOILERS
If you are going to post a spoiler, then you must label SPOILER in the beginning of your title. Spoiler information is considered "information about a show that has not yet aired in the U.S."

SPAMMING
Spamming will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Anyone spamming on the forum and in private message will be PERMANENTLY banned without exception.

MEMBERS PROFILES
OWW Genesis Site Staff reserves the right to alter any users profile. OWW Genesis Site Staff will alter or delete the following violations without warning ...
- Screen names containing obscene language
- Website links containing inappropriate images/subjects
- MySpace pages containing inappropriate images/subjects

The user will be e-mailed and private messaged by the moderator informing the user of the alteration.

Websites and MySpace pages are optional. If your site or MySpace page promotes inappropriate material, then DO NOT add it to your profile.

IMAGES OR LINKS CONTAINING NUDITY ARE NOT ALLOWED
Images or links depicting nudity are not allowed. The link or image will be deleted immediately.

SEXUAL CONTENT
Sexual content is allowed to a point. The general way to determine whether sexual content is inappropriate or not is if the content could be deemed "R-rated" or above. Anything that could be deemed "R-rated" and above will be considered inappropriate. Anything that is deemed to be too obscene, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate will be deleted.

FOLLOWING ORDERS AND REQUESTS OF OWW GENESIS SITE STAFF MEMBERS
All users will be required to follow orders or requests from Site Staff Members.

DEBATES
A spirited, respectful debate and exchange of differing opinions is healthy for anyone. That being said, outside of debating the issues at hand, any disagreements, arguments, or debates that take away from the thread, will result in an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member telling the involved parties to take their issues to PMs. If an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member advises members to take their issues to private messages, then they must do so. Failing to take an issue to private messages after being asked to do so by an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member will subject the member to the rules regarding failing to follow an order of an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member.

UNNECESSARY DRAMA
Unnecessary drama is not welcome. For practical purposes, unnecessary drama shall be defined as any dramatic activity that is not necessary, and/or has the potential to create a controversial or negative reaction. There is a fine line between a spirited debate and unnecessary drama.

MUTED
Muted is OWW Genesis answer to Time Out. Registered Users placed in this usergroup will have their posting privileges removed for a certain time, OWW Staff can decide how long each user is confined to this punishment.

Muted users are still able to access OWW Genesis under the following restrictions

Registered users will find themselves Muted should they repeat the following violations ....

All OWW Genesis Site Staff Members reserve the right to take any moderating action without warning, or reason. It will be normal practice to inform the member of such activity, and a reason for the action taken.

OWW Genesis is a private site, and in accordance with such, membership is not guaranteed, and can be revoked at any time, without cause, reason, or prior notification. As it relates to membership, OWW Genesis Site Staff make decisions which they feel are in the best interest of the site.

Not all situations can be covered in the rules. If an OWW Genesis Site Staff Member is made aware of, or observes something that does not appear to be in the best interest of this site, then they reserve the right to take ANY moderating action warn, lock thread, edit post, suspend, ban..etc.

Hello everyone and welcome This is going to be a very loose knit community, and there are only a few rules here.

1 This forum is to help people who have an addiction or who loved ones are addicted. This is not a joke. Dont make fun of anyone or talk down on anyone. Respect the other members.

2 Lets keep cussing to a minimum. I dont care if you cuss, but dont make every other word a cuss, lets be mature here.

3 No spamming. No affiliate links in posts. Use your signature line for any affiliate links you want to use.

Thats it. Just enjoy the forum, and lets help people change for the better, OK?
